APLogi runs the casting and planning side of American Pickers on History. I've built it since May 2026 and it's in daily use.
The show finds people with collections worth visiting, then plans filming around them in two-week regional blocks. Before APLogi that lived in spreadsheets and inboxes spread across more than a decade of seasons.
What it does
- Public intake. A mobile-first submission site. Each submission and its photos become a lead the team can work.
- One history. About 54,000 leads from 12+ seasons moved into one system, with duplicate detection and merge tools to clean it up.
- Route planning. Leads on a map, for planning 14-day regional filming blocks, plus a map layer for the show's network of experts.
- Pipelines per block. Every lead tracked from first contact to a locked shoot: grading, talent fit, call logs and outreach distribution.
- The boring parts done properly. Google sign-in, role-based permissions, audit logs, nightly backups that are verified, not just taken.
Next.js 16, React 19, SQLite and Leaflet. 290+ commits so far.
It's a client system, so there are no screenshots of real data here.
